I warmly welcome you to Harris Academy.

Our website is designed to give you as much information as possible, and hopefully, give you a sense of the pride we have in our school community.

The key to developing a successful school community is the quality of the relationships that exists between young people, staff, parents/carers and partners. Valuing people is at the heart of our school and we do our best to ensure this happens in practice.

As part of a recent extension to our building, a piece of public art was commissioned. The artist, Louise Kirby, has recently consulted with young people and staff and below is her summary of what she has heard from those voices:

"The fabric of Harris is the sense of belonging that runs through the school. It is achieved by the mix of groups; the welcoming staff and pupils, the opportunities afforded and an idea of structure with softness which has lots of love."
