SFA - another fantastic achievement

SFA - another fantastic achievement for Philippa, she has been selected for the UEFA Women's U16 Development Tournament 18-24 Feb.

Scottish Cup

S2 football team vs St Columba's HS (4th round) - St John's won 5-0 (Goal scorers - Garrick, Ferguson(2), Kunc(2)).

We now play Gryffe HS at home for a place in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup.

Children's Hearing Training January 2017

On the 21st of January we once again took part in a training exercise for the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration. This year Jay and Maia supported by Shaeleigh (all S3) attended. Jay took the role of Emma Devlin, who was the subject of the panel hearing, and Maia was her elder sister, Nicola. Mr Lennon was Emma’s guidance teacher. The pupils performed really well, and were applauded by an audience of around forty trainees. Well done both of you!

 

ASN 3/4 animal sculptures

From drawing, to three-dimensional sculptures, ASN 3/4 created models of their favourite animals using limited and recycled materials. Building on problem-solving skills and imaginative approaches to their creative practice, each pupil showed off their creative abilities in this unit.

Ten S3 pupils competed in a school heat, Future Chef competition this week, Rory Lovie, head chef from the Bridgeview Station Restaurant on Dundee’s Waterfront came to judge the competition, and the results are as follows…

Angels for Sale!

The school will be holding its Christmas Fayre on Friday 16th December in the school hall, in aid of The India Village Project. Pupils will get the chance to participate in a variety of stalls such as personalised bauble making, photo booth, nail bar, tombola, wood work decoration making, personalised mugs, arts and craft and much more. Fruit kebabs, cake and candy and other festive treats will be available to purchase too!
